Minty Melon & Blueberry Salad

Serendipitously this week, I had both fresh cantaloupe and blueberries on hand. Seeing the duo in front of me, I remembered this salad that I made so often that one summer. It was always a hit at potlucks and entertaining. The mint and lime give the salad zing, while the honey helps temper the acidity. It’s a delicious treat to grace your table as summer winds down.

Minty Melon and Blueberry Salad


  • 1 lime, zest and juice
  • ¼ cup honey
  • A few mint sprigs, leaves chopped
  • 3 cups melon, cubed
  • 1 cup blueberries


  1. Zest the lime and add it to a large bowl. Squeeze in the juice. Add in and mix together with the honey and mint leaves.
  2. Add in melon and blueberries. Stir to combine and chill for about an hour (if you can wait that long).
