Motivation for Running:  I run to stay healthy, happy…and so I can eat chocolate! I also enjoy running with friends and family – especially my Dad and sister. How many daughters can say that they have run a marathon with their dad?

Favorite Running Moment or Experience:  Crossing the Marine Corps Marathon finish line – my first marathon - with my Dad and sister. No longer was I the “girl with Lupus”, I was a marathoner. While I had the amazing support of my Dad and sister, I covered all 26.2 miles with my own two feet. If I could do that, I can do anything!

Favorite Running Shoe:  That’s one of the joys of owning a running store – I get to have lots of favorites!

Favorite Piece of Running Apparel
:  Balega socks! Who knew moisture-wicking socks could be so comfy!

Preferred After Run Treat:  Bananas – especially bananas with peanut butter dipped in melted dark chocolate! . In the winter, I love a steaming mug of Schokinag Dulce De Leche Drinking Chocolate. It’s AMAZING!
