Our Place Restaurant: They only do breakfast and lunch and they do it well. Also, I think they may be the only place open for breakfast in Bolton! We don't even have a DD! About 1.5-2 miles from the BRR starting line. Check them out after training in the hill! – Dani K.


Giv Coffee in Canton, Ct. New spot with excellent house roasted beans and an assortment of local baked goods. great atmosphere and happy staff!- Chloe D.

The Village Bistro Cafe in Canton has the most deliciously prepared omelets, seasonal specials for any breakfast dish and fresh squeezed fruit/vegetable juice! Delightful, efficient staff and service too!- Diane P.


Ken's Corner in Glastonbury without a doubt! BEST food and amazing service! Nutella stuffed French toast and egg white omelettes are two of my favorite items. It's definitely worth waiting in line for. –Stephanie G.


Brew Bakers at 69 Main St, Middletown, CT. I love the Florentine Omelette Sandwich and a iced or hot latte. The staff is friendly and you can eat inside or out.- Julie YM

Blue Plate Kitchen. Nothing beats a stack of s'mores pancakes after three hours on the Metacomet Trail- Michael L.

Goldbergs.  Their "Ultimate Burrito" is a staple in my recovery after long runs.  I love runs at The Reservoir followed by an Ultimate Burrito, and their staff is super friendly!  And they have Cold Brew!- Kevin R.

Now, with Goldberg's in Blue Back, it might be my new go-to place- Amy F.

Hartford Baking Company. Best coffee around and excellent fresh pastries.  Also they bake great bread to take to home and good sandwiches (made on that bread!) for lunch. - Sarah H.

Harvest Country Store. The bacon, egg, and cheese with avocado spread is unbelievable! Now they have their healthy smoothie options and a whole plethora of baked goods to choose from. Unbeatable after hitting the trails, the further I run the more food I order!- Josh W.

The Kitchen at Billings Forge. It's an amazing organization that combines job training and community development to the people of the community by employing and empowering residents of Billings Forge and Frog Hollow in Hartford. Not to mention the food is amazing! Their ham egg and dill havarti breakfast sandwich on house-made cheddar biscuits are on my top-3 best breakfast sandwich of all time list- not an easy feat! It is the perfect meal to refuel with after a long run, and best of all it comes with fresh coffee!- Alli L.

Sam's Gyro on South Main Street in West Hartford s a great spot for an after run breakfast. The food is fresh, and made to order. The baklava is amazing! There is outdoor seating, and the service has a personal touch- Sandra V.
