About Our 10k Training Program
Join us as we train for the Old Wethersfield 10K! This program is great for any runner who has recently completed at least a 5k (3.1 miles), but is appropriate for those who can run a 10k (6.2 miles) and want to get stronger.
The training program begins on Saturday, June 22nd at 8:00 am and culminates with the Old Wethersfield 10k on Sunday, August 25th. The Saturday morning group runs will start/end at Fleet Feet Hartford.
In addition to the Saturday group practices, you are invited to attend the optional weekly Fleet Feet Run Club Fun Runs on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm (free; meet at the store).
The registration fee is $95 (does not include race registration) - but does include your 10-week training plan, weekly coached group runs (plus optional runs during the week) with guidance on proper form , a team shirt, in-store discounts and a whole lot of fun and camaraderie! (Price increases $10 on June 22nd.)
Coaches are available to answer any questions via e-mail, and send a weekly e-mail newsletter with the training plan and additional tips to stay healthy.
