About Our 10k Training Program
Join us as we train for the Old Wethersfield 10k! This program is great for any runner who has recently completed at least a 5k (3.1 miles), but is appropriate for those who can run a 10k (6.2 miles) and want to get stronger.
The training program begins on Saturday, June 20th at 8:30am and culminates with the Old Wethersfield 10k on August 23rd. The Saturday morning group runs will start/end at Fleet Feet Sports in West Hartford.
In addition to this Saturday group practice, you are invited to attend the optional weekly store Fun Run, Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm (from Fleet Feet Sports).
The registration fee is $95 (does not include race registration) - but does include your 10 week training plan, weekly coached group runs (plus optional runs during the week) with guidance on proper form , a technical team shirt, a weekly e-newsletter to motivate and educate you, and a whole lot of fun and camaraderie!
Coaches are available to answer any questions via e-mail, and send a weekly e-mail newsletter with the training plan and additional tips to stay healthy.
