Program Start: Sunday, January 3rd
Program Schedule: Group Long Runs on Sunday, Fun Runs on Wednesday, Track Workouts on Thursday
Goal Race: 2016 Boston Marathon (or other spring marathon)
Program Fee: $165 (excludes race fee and does not guarantee race entry)
Description: Have you qualified for the 2016 Boston Marathon but need a little extra motivation? Maybe you're a first time marathoner running Boston for a charity and you'd like a plan to get you to the start line. Either way, we have the program for you! Fleet Feet has teamed up with Adidas to offer a 16-week training program for the 2016 Boston Marathon (or another spring marathon of your choice)! The cost of the program is $195 – it does NOT include the marathon entry fee nor does it guarantee you entry. This program is for runners who have qualified and registered for the 2016 Boston Marathon. Others planning to run a spring marathon are also welcome in this group, though the program will culminate with the Boston Marathon on Monday, April 18th. The program will also include a training plan, a technical t-shirt, coached weekend long runs, weekly fun runs and coached track workouts. Periodic clinics will be offered throughout the program covering topics such as massage, nutrition, cross-training (with demo classes!), and more. Training program participants will receive discounts on shoes, apparel, accessories and nutrition at Fleet Feet, weekly emails from your certified coaches, and a group of new friends to train with!
