Our Thursday Night Track Workout series is designed for runners of all ages and abilities. The free, coached workout varies week to week, incorporating various types of training, repetitions, intervals and tempo runs.
The goal is not to train for a particular event, but to expose participants to a variety of different workouts and supplement their training for recreational running or racing 5k-marathon. It's also a great way to meet fellow runners in the area!
The workouts are held every Thursday at 6:30 pm at St. Joseph College track from around mid-March until mid November: whenever the track isn't covered in a layer of snow! Please park in the upper parking lot (NOT the O'Connell Gym lot or we risk losing our permit to use the track).
During the winter, the group still gets a suggested weekly workout via e-mail that can be completed on the roads or on a treadmill. To be added to the track workout mailing list, please contact Coach Schuyler.
